caroline gardner

hooray

if you haven't had the pleasure of sending or receiving a card from caroline gardner, you will be dying to after you read today's post!

caroline gardner is a wonderful stationer based in west london. this weekend i picked up a birthday card by caroline, and knew i had to do a post about her. the designs are so fresh and modern, simple and fun.

a little excerpt from the website :

{ "caroline gardner is one of the most respected independent greeting card and stationery designers in the united kingdom. caroline, who trained and initially worked as a painter, started designing cards fifteen years ago after receiving a commission for a small range from a tokyo based art gallery. the cards were an instant success and the company was formed shortly afterwards.

caroline’s quirky yet sophisticated designs are brought to life by employing little used traditional printing techniques, such as letter press and die stamping, but interpreted in a very modern way. the cards have an extremely loyal following and are both instantly recognisable and highly sought after by a diverse group of consumers." }

i was able to get some packs of her cards on sale after christmas-- i can't wait to use them for the holidays!
