i am so excited to finally be posting my cherry blossom photos today! the trip to dc was just lovely, we got there early enough to find parking (just $5 all day on weekends!) and walk to the tidal basin to enjoy & photograph the blossoms. there were certainly lots of people, and dealing with the gusty wind was a challenge, but it was a great morning and totally worth it. brunch at old ebbitt grill afterwards was delightful... it's a dc tradition so if you haven't been, you must when you're in the area. i highly recommend the spring eggs.
after all the photos, i was inspired to create a cherry blossom-themed wedding inspiration board... i imagine a spring garden affair filled with petal pink, milky white, and a touch of gold: heavy on the frills.
