100 days

{blackberries, a sign of summer}

april 1 marks a special day. not only is it the beginning of a wonderful set of months, with the glorious seasons of spring/summer/fall in our future, but it also counts 100 days until the wedding. we are getting over a bout of seemingly endless rain, and waking up to sunshine couldn't be sweeter. wedding plans are flowing along as predicted:

+ paper straws delivered, in bulk
+ invitations designed, sent to be letterpressed
+ hair and makeup scheduled
+ bridesmaid brunch plans underway
+ favor supplies arrived, prep in progress
+ ceremony finalized
+ program layout in the works
+ guestbook ideas circulated
+ mom's dress ordered

i am content. still aiming to stay ahead of schedule for as long as possible to avoid any last minute meltdowns. 80 degree temperatures are forecasted and i could not be happier. we have been making quick use of the grill, cooking out whenever we can. forsythia and daffodils are blooming around every corner, and i'm hoping to get a long walk in today. our farmers' market will open in one month's time, and i am ready and waiting with my basket. the more summer-like it gets, the more excited i am for the wedding.

i hope spring is treating you with as much merriment.
